Advent may be sort of a mystery to those of you who, like me, didn’t grow up with this tradition. Basically, Advent is the season leading up to Christmas. Advent means “coming” and it is a time of reflecting on and anticipating Jesus’ birth and His second coming. It one of our very favorite holiday traditions!

I’ve crafted this family devotional to go along with the Advent Devotional by John Piper called Good News of Great Joy: Daily Readings for Advent. (Click the link to get it for free!) My husband and I will follow the John Piper devotional and our kids will each have one of these booklets! Each day matches up with what we will be reading and includes a kid-friendly devotional and question, and a fun picture to color!

There are two options available for download! The booklet or the pages. 1) The booklet is set up to be printed front and back and then folded and stapled to create a little book. 2) The pages are basically just one sheet each day – no assembly required. 😉

Booklet Printing Hints:

  • Print double-sided with short-edge binding
  • No scale – 100%
  • Print grayscale to save ink

Or, if you are already a subscriber, go straight to the Resource Library.
